Leila Hassan

Hi, my name is Leila Hassan. I am the fifth grade teacher at Sci Tech Academy. I have been a teacher for over 7 years and have taught in both high school and elementary. I graduated from Queen Mary University of London, UK with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Microbiology. I then went to graduate school and earned my teaching qualification from Kingston University in London, UK. I taught in San Diego for over four years at an elementary school and worked with grades K-8. I taught 7 and 8 grade science, character Education and was the program manager for English language development. I believe teaching is the most rewarding job and I am passionate about equity in education. I am privileged to have the opportunity to teach your child and take part in one of their most formative years. I hope we will work together to make this a great year!
